We had a wonderful first day in 1A. The students received lots of information and I think we are both ready to have some fun this year! I look forward to hearing all about their "me stews" tomorrow.

Birthdays and Snack

Today was a wonderful day. I met all of my incredibly sweet first graders today. I am blessed beyond imagine with incredible parents and kiddos this year. Not to mention, the outpouring of love, support and congratulations I received today from past parents. I truly believe I am where I need to be. There's nothing quite like spending time catching up with a former student. I thank God, my family and the village that helped me realize what I'm born to do, teach. My heart is full. :)

Back to School

Summer break has officially come to a close. The halls of Saint Patrick are quiet, the desks clean and organized and the teachers are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their students. This time next week, school will be in session!
